Growth By Epidemic Proportions

You know you have nailed your business processes down when a new employee can be trained in the morning and be working functionally by the afternoon. If your product is priced right and desired by enough people, the growth of your company might just be... epidemic.
No, this is not a map showing the spread of H1N1 virus.... It's McDonalds locations in North America. All 13,000 of them. Apparently, the farthest one would ever have to travel anywhere in the US to get to McDonalds is 145 miles in rural South Dakota. If only McDonalds continues to expand their menu to include more nutritionally-beneficial offerings... They have an incredible infrastructure in place. And, they could certainly triple their market share if they could nail the right combination of foods... something like Panera perhaps would get me through the door almost daily.
I wonder if this map correlates with obesity concentrations in the US?!
