Is Atlas Shrugging As Warren Buffett FORCED To Testify?

The headlines in recent days are straight out of Atlas Shrugged it seems. Heavyweight intellectual and investment genius, Warren Buffett is testifying tomorrow before the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. At first, they invited him to come and answer questions. When he politely declined, they issued a subpoena. That's right, he's being forced to show up, as Ayn Rand would say, "at the point of a gun". If he doesn't appear, he risks going to jail.
Yet, he is not accused of any crime. His sole purpose at the hearing is so that they can ask him questions. They are attempting to get his brilliant mind to divulge it's genius.
How sad.
How absurd.
The USA is neither the "land of the free", nor the "home of the brave" in situations like this. Tomorrow, for Warren Buffett, it will be quite the opposite of the national anthem's sentiments. Has someone at the helm in America forgotten the Founding Father's good words... ?
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. (but we may force a chosen individual, accused of no crime, to speak of his knowledge under the threat of jail time)
No doubt, Mr. Buffett will find a way to turn a positive light on this. He seems to abhor controversy and he is handy with PR. And, at the end of the day, he is going to reveal only what he wants anyway. So, really the whole thing is a farce... at his expense.
